MONTBRETIA
TURTLE ON MY KNEE
EMMA SCARR
SOPHIE CRAWFORD

MONTBRETIA
I’m Montbretia and have been playing the guitar for 5 years now and have recently started doing open mics. I’ve played several times at the Wanstead Tap and have supported Eliza Carthy- which was amazing. I’ve grown up listening to Bob Dylan and The Eagles and love learning their amazingly written songs.

TURTLE ON MY KNEE
Two grown men who have never made it to Barnstable. They have never made it as an electro-funk band either, hence their decision to play bluegrass and country music. But they enjoy playing together, and would enjoy playing for you too. Together they provide an eclectic repertoire of styles and genres, performing with a strong groove and foot-stomping energy.

EMMA SCARR
Emma writes songs about ordinary people in ordinary situations, capturing everyday experiences, and honing them into beautiful songs with unflinching honesty. Songs that remind us that our stories are anything but mundane or unimportant. Delivered in an honest, raw singing voice that makes each song moving and authentic!

SOPHIE CRAWFORD
Sophie Crawford is folk musician from Stoke Newington performing a mixture of traitional and original music. She released her first album 'Silver Pin' in 2018 with Oliver Coates.
She runs the poetry and music night 'Patterned Ground' and a monthly folk singing session at the Harrison.
